Overview

The technical architecture for the HOC application emphasizes reliability, flexibility and maintainability. This report details the various characteristics, architectures and technologies that will be used for the application.

Hardware Architecture

The hardware architecture is based on industry standard existing architectures. This diagram illustrates the network/hardware architecture in which the HOC application would reside.

Clients

External Clients
At this time, all external clients access the HOC application through the internal WAN. There is no external access through the internet. The WAN is accessed via the District Office (aprox. 256k Frame Relay).

Internal Clients
Clients that reside within the LAN have a high speed connection (10 base T).
